Back to spring. Spring 1995 distillate followed two winter 1993 releases, and at 16 years and 9 months it was younger than both.

14.6 points above 2013. The following release, in 2013, was bottled at 128.2 proof; this one at 142.8, 71.4% ABV.

Four warehouses again. L, H, I and K, the set the 2010 used, with barrels drawn from floors 1 through 6 and 8.

53.69%. Evaporation over 16 years and 9 months took 53.69% of the whiskey that went into the barrels, per the sheet.

Fall 2005 to fall 2012

Every George T. Stagg release from fall 2005 through this one topped 140 proof, according to Buffalo Trace's letters: 141.2, 140.6, 144.8, 141.8, 141.4, 143, 142.6 and 142.8. Before that run, the spring 2005 lots had been bottled at 130.9 and 131.8 proof; after it, the 2013 came in at 128.2.

The 2012 comment, “Rich dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla”, repeats the three flavors of the 2010's “Dark chocolate, vanilla and coffee” in a different order.

Strategic Position

It followed the 2011 release, 18 years and 5 months old, which was 0.2 proof points lower, and a year later came the 2013 bottling at 128.2 proof, the first George T. Stagg below 140 proof since the spring of 2005. Weller's spring 2000 wheated bourbon came out in fall 2012 as well.
