Bob Dalgarno worked with Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca — sommelier, chef and pastry chef — to define a flavour brief first, then chose seven cask styles of European and American sherry-seasoned oak to build it, with The Macallan describing the styles as reflecting the creative spirit of each of the four collaborators. The whisky was bottled at 48.2% ABV, without an age statement and at natural colour, with the cask recipe disclosed on the pack in the series' standard format.
