The first Jack Daniel's 10-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey batch offered outside the United States, Batch 4 was announced on 24 February 2025 with Batch 3 of the 12-Year-Old and Batch 1 of the 14-Year-Old, the first Jack Daniel's at that age since the early-to-mid 1900s. US shelves had it that month and select international markets followed, at 97 proof (48.5% ABV) in the 700 mL size.

The Elemental Distinction

Batch 4, 2025. Jack Daniel's dated the announcement 24 February 2025, and US stores had the batch before the month was out.

First batch abroad. On the distillery's batch list, Batches 1 to 3 are US releases and Batch 4 is the first 10-Year-Old for the US and select international markets.

Familiar figures. Batches 1 to 3 were also bottled at 97 proof, and Batches 2 and 3 came in the same 700 mL size as this one.

The classic mash. Like Old No. 7, the 10-Year-Old is made from the distillery's mash of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye.

Beside a 126.3-proof debut. The 2025 release paired it with Batch 1 of the 14-Year-Old, at 126.3 proof, and the 12-Year-Old's third batch.

The three-age release

February 2025

Batch 4 arrived on the day the Aged Series reached three age statements. Jack Daniel's introduced a 14-Year-Old at 126.3 proof (63.15% ABV), its first whiskey at that age since the early-to-mid 1900s, and released it with Batch 3 of the 12-Year-Old at 107 proof and this 10-Year-Old at 97. According to the distillery's master distiller, Chris Fletcher, the three showed what a little extra time in its barrels can produce.

For Batch 4 the distillery reused, word for word, the note it first gave Batch 2 in March 2023: oak forward, with layers of dark fruit and bittersweet cocoa.

Strategic Position

Before Batch 4 came the 2024 batch aged high, then low; after it, the fifth batch, announced 24 March 2026. The February 2025 release also carried the 126.3-proof debut of the 14-Year-Old.

Production Methodology

Tennessee law requires Tennessee whiskey to be filtered through maple charcoal before aging and aged in new, charred oak barrels. Batch 4 of Jack Daniel's 10-Year-Old spent ten years in that wood and was bottled at 97 proof in 700 mL bottles for its February 2025 US release; Jack Daniel's then offered it in select countries internationally.
